In compliance with Government directives in response to the COVID-19 outbreak, our cinemas will be closed until further notice.
This is devastating for all of us who love movies and movie-going, but the truth is, the movies will be back. For now, the priority is the health and safety of our team, and the community we serve.
Rest assured that we will endeavour to re-open the cinemas as soon as is safe and reasonable to do so. Please stay tuned to our social channels, and our Legends loyalty newsletters for updates.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for the support you’ve shown us over the years. As an Independent Cinema, we believe we have a vital role to play in the social life of our community, and we sincerely hope to deliver many more cherished movie memories in the future. An additional thanks to the entire Limelight team, who have worked tirelessly to make your movie-going experience as fun, as affordable, and as unique as possible.

Q: I have tickets or a booking to a session that has been cancelled, will I get a refund?
A: If you have not already been contacted by us and received a refund, please email us at email@example.com and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
Q: I have a Limelight Cinemas Gift Card expiring while the cinemas are closed, will you extend it’s expiry date?
A: Yes, all gift cards that hadn’t expired as of 23rd March 2020, will be extended by the duration of our closure.
Q: I have a Limelight Cinemas Complimentary Pass or Voucher expiring while the cinemas, will you extend it’s expiry date?
A: Yes, all vouchers and passes that hadn’t expired as of 23rd March 2020, will be extended by the duration of our closure.
Q: What happens to my Legends Rewards points while you’re closed?
A: We’ve frozen all points from expiring while we’re closed and will be extending the expiration dates by the duration of our closure.
Q: Can I still enquire about group bookings or birthday parties towards the end of the year?
A: Yes you can, please send enquiries through to firstname.lastname@example.org. Whilst we can assist you with your enquiry and provide you with information, we may not be able to confirm your booking until we get further clarity from the Australian Government when we are safe to open.
Q: How long will the cinemas be closed for?
A: We’re not quite sure at this stage. We’re continuing to monitor advice from the Australian Government and we will reopen as soon as we’re allowed and it’s safe to do so.
Q: What movies will be showing when you reopen?

Q: How will I know when Limelight Cinemas will reopen?
